Portside is a 139-metre-tall (456 ft) building in Cape Town, South Africa. It is in the centre of the City's business, financial, and dining hubs.
Completed in 2014, it is the City's tallest building and, at the time of completion, Cape Town's first significant skyscraper to be developed in the central business district (CBD) in 15 years.
It enjoys magnificent views of Table Mountain, the harbour, and The City of Cape Town. It has an office and a ground-floor retail component. The building is typically, at any given time, between 99-100% tenanted due to the continuous demand to call Portside home.
The Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA) awarded the property a 5-star Green Star rating, making it the tallest green building in South Africa. Designed to use low-energy technology throughout, it is the first large building in South Africa to use LED lighting almost exclusively. The building also has premium 24-hour security and access.
