When I asked the owner of this home what attracted her to this house when they viewed it the first time, her answer was: "All the space in the house and the tranquility of the surroundings."
This home has two large garages with direct access into the house. A very spacious laundry/scullery with built in cupboards.
A Coffee /liquor bar in the large semi open plan lounge with a old fashion fire place (double sided braai) and a sliding door to the back porch. The kitchen is large, light and sunny with a spacious breakfast nook, double sink, stove and enough cupboards for storage. There is a small lounge in front of the house that can be used as a parlour, tv room or sun room. From there, on each side is a bedroom with bathroom with ample cupboards.
On the side of the kitchen is a den/study/hobby room with a toilet.
The front porch is cordoned off for the two fluff budd children's safety.
Inside the house is a wooden staircase that can be closed from the top for privacy leading to a flatlet/bedsitter, a Large corner bath, basin and toilet. Large bedroom with small kitchen and little lounge. Open deck area is spacious and can be closed by glass and aluminium for indoor space. There is currently a outside braai. The view looks over the hussle and bussle of Mossel Bay and in the far the ocean shimmers in the sunlight.
The garden is full of shrubs and full in bloom. There are steps leading to the flatlet on the outside of the house if you have guests/tenants for their privacy.
The estate's levy are affordable. The lush communal gardens are in pristine condition and the enclosed swimming pool is clean and sparkling. Very safe, but adult supervision is always recommended. There are bath/dressing rooms and lawns.
This historical Estate in Mossel Bay started up decades ago as a holiday farm where holidaymakers came to stay in furnished Cape Dutch cottages for their beach holidays. Eventually the cottages were sold to the public. Eventually the group housing was rezoned to full title erven, the infrastructure on the farm and the service networks were fully upgraded and Vogelsang Landgoed came into being.
The house is secured with a camera system and has fibre.
