Another 10.5 hectare of fields can be flooded during the rainy season. The total carrying capacity is estimated at 240 LSU.
The farm is jackal proof fenced and divided into 3 blocks also jackal proof fenced. In total there are 53 camps each with water.
The farm is at the watershed of local drainage systems with water supplied by 3 permanent springs and 10 boreholes. Three boreholes are fitted with windmills, one with a solar pump and one with a 2,2kw three phase pump.
There are two houses on the farm. The main house (circa 1860) has recently been renovated with four bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms, large farmhouse kitchen, lounge and indoor braai area. It boasts with yellow wood floors and Oregon ceilings. The second house, also recently renovated, has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, open plan kitchen and lounge and a study.
Other buildings include three workers houses, accommodation for shearers, a large shearing shed, another shed, storerooms/workshop and a slaughterhouse/butchery. Eskom power is supplied to all the buildings except the one shed.
The farm is currently farmed with merino sheep and cattle. Approximately 30 springbuck are included in the sale. Other game includes koedoe, mountain rheebuck, grey rheebuck, klipspringer and steenbok.
