BACKGROUND :

I was born in 1962 and lived in Durban for most of my life and matriculated at the Protea High School in Chatsworth.

In 1981 I enrolled at the M L Sultan Technikon and in 1984, I obtained a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and practiced as a Product Development Engineer for 36 years with all the major appliance and auto motive manufacturing companies in South Africa.

In 2009 I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the Durban University of Technology.
