About Karin Malan

After spending her childhood and completing high school in Port Elizabeth, Karin travelled to England for a “gap year” and returned home 8 years later. She couldn’t find her dream job in London after 3.5 years, so she then went on to work on cruise ships, where she managed the on board Spa. Even though she loved seeing the world and living on a floating hotel, the urge to come back home became stronger with each visit to PE in between contracts, so when Jurie called to talk about his big idea, the decision was easy!

Karin is happily married to an awesome guy named Francois and in her spare time, she is trying her absolute best to raise a model child.
