About Alet van Huyssteen

I was born and raised in Burgersdorp, Eastern Cape, where my father was a merino farmer. Growing up on a farm in the countryside is probably the reason why I feel so at home in the small but vibrant town of Clarens.

I matriculated at Burgersdorp High school in 1992 and in 1997 got my degree in nursing at The University of the Free Sate. I then worked in London for a few years before started working as a clinical research nurse and later as an occupational health nurse in Bloemfontein.

I'm married to Johrné since 2000 and looking forward combining our strengths and passions in our new venture being co-franchisees of Realnet Bethlehem & Clarens. We are excited to broaden our horizons, to expand our knowledge and to live our dream.
