Sales was always my interest and when I matriculated at 17 years old in 1981, I joined the Classifieds at the Argus Newspaper where I quickly moved up the ranks.

All the representatives that were on the road calling on clients had to take turns to go and photograph particular properties that were being featured in the midweek and weekend Property Guide. Needless to say I did a terrible job and was never asked to take photographs again! That left me to do what I was best at and that was to liaise with my clients and sell them space.

In 1993, I joined the real estate industry and the rest is history. I love this Industry! The lyrics to one of Joe Cocker's songs "wherever you lay your hat is your home" has always inspired me to help people find their home or property. It give me great satisfaction handing over keys to buyers and sellers and to know that I or my team were party to that.

I am an outgoing, compassionate and caring person - a born people's person. This Industry has taught me so much, but if you asked me to earmark one thing, it would be, people. It's all about the people. My Agents are not sales people, they are matchmakers. And when we find and introduce our clients to the right property we then become wedding planners!

I have over 40 years of trusted sales experience and have been an owner and principal of an Estate Agency since 1993, servicing the Milnerton and surrounding area. My team is my "work family" and we treat each other with the respect that comes from having grown together shaping a positive work culture. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond our customer's expectations and find the right home, at the right time, for the right people.
