About Hornette Botha

My name is Hornette Botha, I am a property specialist born in Duiwelskloof -Limpopo Province, where I matriculated at Merensky Highschool, Tzaneen. I pursued my studies at the University of Pretoria, where I studied Domestic Science-Ed.

I believe what sets me apart is my passion for my work and my people skills, always being prepared to go the extra ten miles, achieving beyond all expectations and putting my client’s needs first.

I am known for my professional service to both my Seller and Buyer, a friendly smile and warm personality with knowledge to guide my clients through the process. My area of speciality lays in Somerset West - Helderberg, and Hermanus. With more than 17 years of experience in the industry, I was privileged to assist numerous people in finding their dream home. In 2018, I reached the Azure Milestone Career Status in Harcourts for selling over R800,000,000 worth of real estate. Prestige and awards are not what motivates me though. For me, it is all about the pleasure of finding my clients the best value in a home for the money they would like to invest.

My experience in the industry, with my background and knowledge enables me to assist

my clients in realising the true potential of a property. Nothing beats the feeling of

handing over the keys to a new homeowner, knowing I was able to be part of the

process and sharing in the excitement of my client's new adventure.

After moving to Somerset West in 2001, my children went to the local schools and it was here that I decided to pursue my interest in real estate. I started working as a full status agent in 2003 after attending a Pam Golding Residential course and successfully passing the EAAB board exam.

I try to maintain balance between work and spending quality time with family and friends. Hermanus is only an hour’s drive away and weekends away give me great pleasure to relax and rejuvenate. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling abroad as well as locally, discovering gems in the area and spending time in nature. I love flowers and beautiful gardens which inspired my love for oil painting. I am blessed with amazing children and as a loving Mother. I spend as much time with them as possible.

My involvement with Kelderhof Country Village goes back to 2012 when I joined Harcourts as the main sales agent for the development at the onsite sales office. Kelderhof had 14 completed houses out of 576 opportunities at the time. Currently we have 519 completed homes, 7 builds underway and approx. 50 erven (inclusive of the unowned) available.

I believe Kelderhof to be an exceptional investment and a wonderful place to live. I personally live in Kelderhof in my second home built during my involvement here.
