After matriculating in Vereeniging in Gauteng I started my working life in Sasolburg where I was employed in the creditors and capital costing departments for AECI. I moved to Johannesburg at the start of 1983 when I joined an international pharmaceutical company. I was employed in the sales department as PA to the Sales Manager and after a few years was offered a position as a pharmaceutical representative within the company. This was my first taste of selling and one to one dealing with customers and I enjoyed it immensely. After my son was born I then took a half day position with a property development company in Randburg and my interest in property was sparked.
