About Hein Steenkamp
Hein started his career as a farmer
in the EC where he served as
Chairman of Cradock farmers union
and various agricultural
associations and national
governing bodies. After 27 years of
farming, Hein developed a sense
for risk management and
implementation of sustainable
structures. As an entrepreneur he
become involved in property
opportunities and soon started his
first real estate agency, Stones Properties. A couple of years later,
Hein was a partner in a venture that
won the Entrepreneur of the Year
Award by Business Partners, 2
years later he also won the Franchisor of the Year Award
(FASA). This spurred him to create
the new innovative concept of
Group 7 Properties.
