About Benita Vermeulen

Proud mother of two sons, aged 25 and 27, Carman in Cape Town and Alano in Munich, Germany. My adventures began in 1989 with a backpacking trip through Europe. My career started at Transnet Head Office in the Group Auditing Department. I built my first house in 1990 and secured my first renovations contract in 1995 with the Transnet Housing Department, where we also trained people. I have worked in various industries and traveled extensively across South Africa to generate business. I developed a unique program with a team to raise international funds for infrastructure improvement, resulting in long-term job creation and new business opportunities. In 2023, I joined Fio Real Estate, focusing on sales and rentals. We pursue opportunities in new developments to build our own sales and rental stock.
