About Gwen Hamlyn

I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland but have lived in South Africa from childhood. I was formally educated at Roedean School (SA) and the University of the Witwatersrand.

I have travelled extensively both locally and internationally and co-ran my own International Incentive Travel Company for many years prior to the financial crisis of 2008. Post 2008 I returned to a successful (original) career path in IT Software Sales as an Account Manager dealing with the all the banks in South Africa, a career that requires extensive management, communication and problem-solving abilities.
