During 2005, the firms of Werner van Rensburg and Liezel Koen merged and Jimmy Baloyi was appointed as the third partner in the new firm known as Van Rensburg, Koen & Baloyi Attorneys. (Jimmy Baloyi subsequently resigned in February 2009 to pursue a career in IT.)
