03 Aug 2018

Decorex Joburg, leading décor, design and lifestyle exhibition, will be celebrating 25 years of connecting people with the latest trends, styles, textiles and furniture at this year’s #rhythmoflife show. The Exhibition, brought to you by Plascon, is taking place at Gallagher Convention Centre from 8 to 12 August, and will be marking this milestone edition with an extensive programme of innovative features that showcase the best interior design and landscaping ideas.

A colourful surprise

Plascon has truly positioned itself as the colour expert with a beautiful installation that utilises a curved, ergonomic design finished in bold colours to entice customers. Headline sponsors of the exhibition, Plascon will have colour specialists on hand at its ‘colour café’ to disseminate insights into the importance of colour complements and contrasts on spatial perception and cognitive influence. Visitors can pick a room from one of the beautiful Plascon room settings on an iPad at the Plascon stand to discover individual design personality. Here, visitors can also enter into a lucky draw and stand a chance to win.

The colour continues on Thursday, 9 and Saturday, 11 August from 12h00 to 15h00 when visitors are given the chance to release their inner creative at this year’s Paint Nite. A professional artist will lead a fun, informal class on painting the Jozi Skyline, with blossoming artists able to enjoy a drink with friends while creating their masterpieces. Experience isn’t necessary, and supplies are provided, but all blossoming artists must be 18 years or older.
