Offering 16 parks, five dams and some of the most spacious homes in Midrand, Kyalami Estates continues to attract buyers looking for a well-located and secure environment.
When it was developed in 1998 by Anglo American Properties, Kyalami Estates was one of the first of its kind. It has remained a perennial favorite, largely due its family-friendly layout, which includes several themed parks equipped with jungle gyms and its natural wetland environment.
“Kyalami Estates has some of the most beautiful and spacious homes, and the convenient location, close to major arterials and amenities, makes it an ideal environment to raise a family,” say Pam Golding Properties area specialists, Jet de la Rey and Nicole Horwood.
The estate is rich in flora and fauna, and there are numerous indigenous trees dotted throughout. This creates a sense of being part of nature, even though the estate offers the convenience of urban living. The well-maintained parks with their inspiring landscaped sidewalks and paved walkways also provide opportunities for families to host picnics and braai events without leaving the estate.
Residents who like to keep active have access to the sports centre, which offers three cricket nets, an outdoor gym, basketball court, netball court and soccer field. Many residents are also active members of the estate’s various sports clubs including karate, cycling, running, squash and tennis. There are also various activities for children. For private hosting of events and functions, there is a clubhouse which residents can book through estate management, say the agents.
In addition to amenities within the estate, the area has a number of good schools including Kyalami Estates Pre-Primary and Kyalami Preparatory School, The Valley School, Curro Castle Waterfall and Curro Waterfall, Beaulieu Preparatory School and Beaulieu College, Pinnacle College Kyalami, Reddam House Waterfall, Reddford House Bluehills and St Peters College Sunninghill.
For shopping, residents are spoiled for choice - from the massive Mall of Africa in Waterfall City to Crowthorne Shopping Centre, Kyalami Corner, Kyalami on Main and Waterfall Corner all within short driving distance. There are also a number of medical facilities including Netcare Waterfall City Hospital, Netcare Sunninghill Hospital and Life Carstehonf Hospital. Kyalami Estates is centrally located to Centurion and Pretoria, as well as Johannesburg’s east and western suburbs, Fourways and Sandton, and very close to the major highways and main roads.
