The home has 360-degree views of the ocean, Llandudno beach and the beautiful mountains that encircle this area.

Clare Putsman, a Cape Waterfront Estates director, says throughout their 21-year history, CWE has focused on the more upmarket homes in the areas they serve, including Llandudno, Hout Bay, Camps Bay, Tokai and Constantia, and this home must rank in the top 10% of all the properties they have marketed to date.

“The home has no less than eight bedrooms, all en suite, and every level has magnificent views,” says Putsman.

“The communal areas are exceptionally spacious and lead onto Balau wood decks or Travertine paved patios - ideal for entertaining, especially as on one deck there is a swimming pool.”

She says great use has been made of full-length glazing, but this does not lead to excessive heat penetration as all the windows and glass doors in this home are double glazed.

Although every section of the home is impressive, Putsman says the most striking is the two bedroom top-floor penthouse suite with over 150sqm floor space. This is “the ultimate in luxury whilst at the same time having attractive minimalist interiors”, she says.

As would be expected in such a “no-expense-spared” home, Putsman says the floor coverings include imported tiles and Travetine marble. Most parts of the home have efficient underfloor heating, and the entire complex is air-conditioned.

“The communal areas are exceptionally spacious and lead onto Balau wood decks or Travertine paved patios - ideal for entertaining, especially as on one deck there is a swimming pool,” says Putsman.
Putsman says the kitchen is particularly large and equipped with imported appliances from Siemens, Bosch and Neft, whilst the security system is very definitely state of the art, with CCTV and electrified fencing. There is also garaging for two cars.

“We have in the last few years experienced strong demand from Gauteng and overseas buyers, and they are still evident, especially at this time of the year,” she says.

“At one stage recently, the British pound was valued at R23. Even at its current level of R17, any buy here by a European, British or North American resident still represents an incredible bargain when compared with what they would get for the same money in their own countries.”

Putsman says this particular home now for sale is so well designed and in such excellent taste that it has to be visited to be fully appreciated.
