The mining town of
Daggafontein in
Springs is being transformed by residential development. There is a demand for housing in the Springs area in the R500k region.
Chris Day, area principal for
Pam Golding Properties says the residential property market in Springs is active with a high demand for new homes. Existing homes are selling from approximately R400k for a two bedroom home, up to around R1m for a spacious, four bedroom family home on a large stand.
The latest development in the Daggafontein area is
Eastwood Manor which was undertaken by Theo's Projects. Pam Golding Properties is now the exclusive marketers of the development.
Day says "Daggafontein - and adjacent
Struisbult - are old mining communities which because they are older and well established, have the appeal of huge trees and foliage, providing a pleasant and leafy environment for home buyers.
He adds that "This new project, which will help cater for a rapidly increasing demand for homes in Springs, is brought to the market by Theo's Projects, well known and highly reputable
Gauteng developers..."
Eastwood Manor homes are in a French Provencal design style and of a high quality. Each unit comprises three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a double garage with a choice of finishes including granite kitchen and stainless steel stove, built-in fire place, private garden and free standing gas braai. The complex is fully walled with a 2.1m electric fenced wall, guard house and impressive entrance.
