Sit back, relax and invest

Sit back, eat some popcorn and buy a property.

Investors will, for the first time in SA, get the opportunity on Thursday 21 February to buy international property while sitting in selected Ster Kinekor theatres.

This new approach to the marketing of property will be brought to 13 theatres in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town by 7habits, an international marketing firm.

Nicola Prinsloo, CEO of 7habits Property Showcase, says these shows, which will be known as Property on Thursdays with 7habits, will be broadcasted via satellite. Buyers will then have access to a fully integrated computer system to purchase online.

She says the plan is to host six shows – each lasting two hours - per year and the ticket price is R140. "This is very affordable, especially when you consider that two-day conferences covering the same topic can cost up to R8k," she said.

An international speaker will, at every presentation, provide hints about how to become a property investor, while investors will be given the opportunity to invest in new developments before they are introduced to the general public. Future speakers include the property tycoon Donald Trump.

These presentations will be on air today at 19:30 and the first speaker is the international sales guru Blair Singer. He will teach people how to improve their financial and business intelligence.

The first development to be introduced to prospective clients will be the Metsi Pepa Game Reserve in the North West province, approximately 40km from Ventersdorp. The development is an eco-estate and offers the investors a piece of the African bush.

Fractional ownership of luxury tents at R145k for a one-bedroom and R175k for a two-bedroom resort under the buying options. Organic villas with two bedrooms will be sold at R3,84m.

Although there are 41 theatres in SA that are digital, it was decided to limit the presentations to the big metro areas. – Elma Kloppers, Sake24
