Prime beachfront plots in new West Coast estate from R349k

21 Apr 2017

Atlantic Waves is a secure residential development estate in the quaint fishing village of Laaiplek near Velddrif on the Cape's West Coast.

Atlantic Waves offers 118 plots, available from R349 000, with beachfront plots selling from R899 000.

Aubrey Fourie, Pam Golding Properties' agent for Langebaan, says the development with plots for under R1 million offers an affordable piece of coastal paradise.

“There are no developments on the Cape coastline where one can buy a beachfront plot for under R1 million. This pricing is extremely competitive given the prime, north-facing location,” he says.

“The development offers 118 plots, available from R349 000, with beachfront plots selling from R899 000. Plot-and-plan opportunities are priced from R1.149 million, and there is also a limited opportunity to buy two plots and get a third one for free.”

All prices are inclusive of VAT, with no transfer duties applicable.

The stands, which are all north to northwest facing, range in size from 562sqm to 770sqm.

“Buyers are able to either invest in an already built house - there are eight complete homes on the estate, or they can design a plot-and-plan home to their specifications,” says Fourie.

Plot-and-plan opportunities are priced from R1.149 million.

Atlantic Waves offers direct beach access, 24-hour security and access control, and residents will enjoy panoramic views and 56km of unspoiled coastline.

“Just 140km from Cape Town, this is an ideal weekend or holiday getaway for city and Boland dwellers,” says Stephanie Wynne-Cole, Pam Golding Properties' area manager for the West Coast.

The area is conveniently located close to shopping amenities, the Velddrif Golf Course and Port Owen Marina and Yacht Club. There are boating and water activities at the Berg River, and the quayside is filled with brightly coloured wooden fishing boats
