Following their success last month at the International Property Awards in Dubai, Pam Golding Properties (PGP) received further accolades at the Overseas Property Professional (OPP) Awards for Excellence held in London on 27 November 2013.
Competing with international companies from around the globe, PGP was awarded Gold for Best Estate Agency Africa and Silver for Best Estate Agency Global – both for the second year in succession. In addition, the company was awarded Silver for Best Online Service and Bronze for Best Innovation, the latter relating to their augmented reality application, PGP Reality.
Held at London’s Natural History Museum, the event was attended by some 450 representatives from over 20 different countries. Gold, silver and bronze awards were presented in 34 categories honouring the best developers, agents and overseas property professionals in the world in what is viewed as one of the sector’s most auspicious events of the year. The OPP Awards for Excellence are judged according to stringent criteria by a panel of highly experienced judges.
Dr Andrew Golding, CE of the PGP group, says apart from winning the two key awards of Gold for Best Estate Agency Africa and Silver for the coveted Best Estate Agency Global again this year, they were delighted to receive an award in every category they entered, particularly as they participated in the Best Online Service and Best Innovation categories for the first time this year.
He says increasingly, leading companies the world over seek to differentiate themselves in the marketplace by striving to achieve international standards of excellence. He says they set their own benchmark to exceed these standards across all areas of their business, in a world where rapid advances in technology and access to information are constantly fuelling even greater innovations in marketing and client communications.
“Today the business of selling real estate has evolved to sophisticated levels, requiring specialised knowledge and expertise, both from a property, financial and legal perspective. Organisations which succeed and remain sustainable are those which combine these attributes with highly professional service and integrity.”
OPP Group CEO, Xavier Wiggins, says the presentation of the OPP Awards for Excellence 2013 was a huge success and celebrated not only the achievements of the best in the industry but also confidence in the future.
