New security estate for Dbnville

A new estate in Durbanville is being positioned as a security development. The estate has electrified perimeter fencing, 24-hour guarded access control, CCTV camera system monitoring access to the estate, as well as an alarm network with a dispatched response from a central gatehouse are measures taken to ensure this security.

Avalon Estate will consist of 371 full title homes made up of 95 single residential erven with an average price of R850k and an option of five uniquely designed house plans, 134 three and four bedroom group housing units, ranging from 157 to 193 sq m and 142 two and three bedroom duplex homes of up to 171sq m.

A clubhouse on the estate offers residents the use of a gym, tennis court, squash courts, swimming pool, an entertainment braai area as well as a sandpit and playpen for children is available.

Developers Devco Africa plan to start building the Avalon Estate infrastructure in January 2007. Completion is planned for September 2007 and building of the units houses will follow in late 2007.
