CampusKey has opened its second residence in Pretoria, expanding its offering in the ‘Jacaranda City’ to 296 beds. Known as CampusKey South, the new residence is located at 1243 South Street, Hatfield, and will offer 160 luxury, fully-furnished en-suite bedrooms.
“Our new residence is within close proximity to the University of Pretoria, as well as other amenities such as shopping centres, restaurants, nightlife, one of the main stations for the Gautrain, and more. We offer students the ideal lifestyle as an all-inclusive product,” says Leon Howell, MD of CampusKey.
“All they need to do is move in - everything is provided, from uncapped Wi-Fi to secure parking. Furthermore, we offer students the opportunity to book now and only start paying in March, as well as other flexible payment options.”
Rooms offer a three-quarter quality bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, study area, built-in wardrobes, a wall-mounted panel heater and a 40-inch LED TV with the option of an additional DStv bouquet. The shared kitchen has a fridge, microwave, kettle and Snappy Chef stove.
Security is of the utmost importance and all rooms are fitted with biometric access control. Furthermore, state-of-the-art gym facilities are provided onsite, as well as communal areas with pool or foosball tables, DStv, laundry facilities and braai areas with a communal kitchen.
“The company has grown to secure student accommodation through their unique understanding and commitment to students,” says Howell.
“Not only do we offer prime locations, but also a hands-on, dynamic management team available to students 24/7, and we pride ourselves on our cutting-edge biometric access and CCTV surveillance systems,” says Howell.
“We also have the CampusKey #Community - a collaborative, vibrant student community at each CampusKey residence, as well as nationwide. Furthermore, we encourage students to take part in the universities’ private student organisations in order to make the best of their time.”
CampusKey is planning further expansions close to the University of Pretoria, Hillcrest 1 and 2, which will be completed early next year.
“Leaving home and moving to a new city to start your tertiary education provides many opportunities to grow your experiences and knowledge. CampusKey is the perfect digs from which you can work, play and have fun,” says Howell.
