KwaZulu-Natal's fast developing North Coast is being primed for a new business development park, with key eco-conscious features - in close proximity to some of the area’s most highly sought after residential estates.
North Point Ballito is a 76 hectare, multi-faceted secure commercial and industrial park, situated alongside the N2 highway that is currently under construction.
Seeff Ballito says this development comprises 51 fully serviced platformed sites, set within secure landscaped surrounds and is accessed directly from the R102 near Shaka’s Head, Ballito.
'Green lung areas and competitively priced'
"This fully secured business park, with 24 hour controlled access, will encompass fourteen hectares of green and indigenous landscaped park and conservation zones. These green lung areas and the price differentiator aspect provide a point of difference as well as a competitive advantage against the existing style of business park product".
An expansive road upgrade programme is currently under construction along the R102 to provide dual traffic lanes, four way stops, traffic light interchange, taxi lay-byes, pedestrian sidewalks and street lights.
The prime location of North Point Ballito positioned between the N2 Highway and the R102 not only bestows excellent road visibility, it also offers easy access to King Shaka International Airport as well as the harbours of Durban and Richards Bay.
'Set to service dynamic business community'
Seeff continues that it expects North Point Ballito as part of the North Coast to grow even further during the next 10 years.
"This beneficial positioning will enable this business to ultimately service one of the country’s most dynamic business communities, plus there is the added benefit of direct access to both skilled and unskilled labour from the neighbouring communities.
With over 40 years’ experience in numerous property developments, and an in depth knowledge of the North Coast, the developers approached this development with longevity in mind after acquiring the land in 2018.
'Purpose designed premium offering'
Their intention was to develop a purpose designed premium commercial and industrial offering set in secure surrounds that is fully geared for the future.
Says developer James Hesse: “North Point Ballito is an optimally located Business Park on the North Coast that offers a combination of land sales, lease options and turnkey development. Innovation leads to success and North Point is on course to achieve this”.
The sites range in size from the smaller 2000 m2 right up to 8 5000 m2 and there has already been significant interest in these exceptionally competitively priced offerings.
Seeff says the developers of this innovative project have also negotiated unique zoning parameters that allow for flexibility of choices for investors.
"Enterprises can range from start-up businesses to major established companies. The Architectural Building Committee will ensure that all the various buildings will have a considered and controlled architectural language.
"The increased utility of this catalytic estate is expected to attract a range of industries that could range from from construction, technical, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing and even some residential apartments in due course".
