Mozambique resort set to go under gavel

21 May 2010
A holiday resort in Mozambique is set to go on auction in Johannesburg on 10 June.

The Dongane Holiday Resort and Golf Estate will go under the hammer at the Wanderers Golf Club.

It is situated in the Inhambane province, 430km North of Maputo.

Featuring two fresh water lakes, five completed homes and two homes that are 80% complete, the resort also has approved plans for a 9-hole golf course. The resort further boasts a wide selection of activities, including freshwater fishing, quad biking, and deep sea fishing, amongst others.

“With Mozambique proving to be an exceptionally popular holiday destination for thousands of South African travelers, an offer such as this one is a once in a lifetime opportunity for astute investors. Further considering the increased global exposure for Africa surrounding the Soccer World Cup, popular hot spots such as Mozambique are set to attract an even higher number of visitors,” says William Amerseder of Auction Alliance.
