A new lifestyle development near Mossel Bay on the Garden Route in Western Cape offers discerning home buyers a “slice of paradise” at market-related prices.

A new lifestyle development near Mossel Bay on the Garden Route in Western Cape offers discerning home buyers a “slice of paradise” at market-related prices.

This is according to Japie van Zyl of the local RealNet franchise, who says the emphasis of the Paradise Coast Beach and Eco Estate, set on 300 hectares of pristine fynbos on the coast about 7 kilometres to the west of Mossel Bay, is firmly on a leisurely way of life in safe and spectacular surroundings.

The latest development in the estate is Phase 1 of Project 6, which offers 39 stand-and-plan packages and a frail care centre that is being developed at the same time. Buyers can choose from several building packages at prices ranging from R632 200 to R2.416 million.

“Frail care and health care facilities, panic buttons in all life right as well as freestanding units, security and daily meals will make Paradise Coast a winner for buyers older than 55 and retirees, although the estate is open to buyers of all ages who appreciate a secure lifestyle in unique surroundings,” says Van Zyl.

The estate offers views of the beach, the Indian Ocean, unspoilt natural countryside, and the craggy cliffs of the Outeniqua Mountains. Residents will have access to the secluded beach, and will be able to explore a nearby cave or take untrammelled walks through the large stretches of pristine natural vegetation that features rare fynbos.

Later phases of the development will include shopping facilities close to Phase 1, more residential units, as well as a hotel and holiday cabanas.

The estate is a few minutes away from Pinnacle Point golf resort and the Garden Route Casino, and 45 minutes’ drive from the George airport.

Construction of the first units as well as the frail care centre has started and the developer expects that the care centre will be ready by the middle of next year when the first new owners will take occupation of their homes.
