Launchbase, the pioneering proptech startup, has once again demonstrated its industry-leading capabilities by achieving another first day sell-out during its latest off-plan property development launch.

The Daily, an architectural masterpiece and purpose-built aparthotel situated in prestigious Green Point, Cape Town, sold out in mere minutes. Initially, only 30 of the 87 apartments were available for purchase, with developers Elemental & Apex Private Equity Partners retaining the balance for the aparthotel. However, due to overwhelming interest during the pre-launch campaign, an additional 15 apartments were released.

To level the playing field for prospective buyers, the Launchbase online reservation platform uses a first-come, first-served model to facilitate reservations, ensuring all buyers have an equal opportunity to secure an apartment.

The moment sales went live at 1pm on Wednesday, 10 July, over 245 eager buyers were online, waiting for their chance to own a piece of this extraordinary development. In an astonishing 2 minutes and 47 seconds, all 45 available units, with a total combined sales value of approximately R150 million, were reserved during this record-breaking launch.

The designer apartments, priced between R2.05 million and R18.6 million, range from stylish studio apartments to stunning 3 bedroom duplex penthouses. The variety on offer caters to those seeking hassle-free investment opportunities as well as residents desiring a five-star hotel-style living experience.

This latest achievement marks Launchbase’s 8th launch day sell-out, following the highly talked-about success of Dolce Vita in Sea Point in May, where all available units were snapped up in under 15 minutes. The Cape Town-based startup is rapidly becoming synonymous with successful off-plan development launches and unique marketing content. Leveraging their robust online sales platform, extensive industry expertise, and superior marketing skills, Launchbase continues to deliver remarkable results for their clients in the competitive off-plan property development market.
