Jawitz Properties opens in Alberton and Germiston

30 Jul 2015

Local residential property agent, Stephan Brown, has recently opened a Jawitz Properties franchise in Brackenhurst, which will cover the Alberton and Germiston areas.

Brown says investing in a Jawitz Properties franchise was a positive move for him. “Jawitz has an impressive business model with an exemplary integrity record. The benefits of partnering with a professional, well-established national brand speaks for itself as properties for sale are exposed throughout the country.”

“Jawitz has an impressive business model with an exemplary integrity record. The benefits of partnering with a professional, well-established national brand speaks for itself as properties for sale are exposed throughout the country.”

Brown not only brings with him years of experience in the property market on the East Rand, but is also a qualified chartered accountant who spent the early part of his career in the financial services sector.

The state of the market in Alberton and Germiston is positive, he says. Demand continues to grow and interested buyers, and those looking to rent can find good value in areas such as Brackendowns, Randhart, Raceview and New Redruth.

The more exclusive suburbs of Meyersdal and Brackenhurst have homes priced considerably lower than those available in the north of Johannesburg.

A typical modern three bedroom, double garage cluster or a comfortable three bedroom freestanding home would cost around R1.5 million, and a more executive cluster would start at R3 million, depending on the accommodation, says Brown.

A big attraction is the soon to open state-of-the-art Mall of the South shopping centre in Swartkoppies Road, very convenient for local shoppers. Following close on its heels is the Newmarket shopping mall, presently under construction on the site of the former Newmarket Race Course.

During the five years of operating in Alberton and Germiston, Brown says he has established a reputation for service delivery and expertise.

“Matching buyers with sellers and landlords with tenants is always rewarding. It's all about building relationships and not just about selling homes,” he says.
