Marna van der Walt, Excellerate Property Services CEO, has been named the Most Influential Woman in Building and Construction sector.

Before being named continental winner, earlier this year Van der Walt was named a regional winner in this celebration of Africa’s most influential people, adding her name to an impressive list of prominent women advancing African economies.
Van der Walt heads up Excellerate Property Services, an integrated property services provider in Africa. With over 20 years’ experience in the property industry, she has also served in several industry positions including President of the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) and President of the South African Council of Shopping Centres (SACSC).
“Africa is growing a world-class property sector that is increasingly respected and exciting. It is an honour to be part of a sector that is driving the development of industrial, business, retail and social infrastructure across the continent,” she says.
