Gordon's Bay flats under R500k

03 Sep 2006
As the property market leans towards more affordable housing, Multi Projects have come up with a strategy that combines accessibility with desirable location.

"We've been working on formulas for buyers with a tight budget, but who are nevertheless still hopeful of finding something in a decent environment. We think Gordon Sands in Gordons Bay may be a close answer to this," says Multi Projects' managing director, Monté Jordaan.

The attractive apartments will come onto the market for as little as R463 000 (for the single bedroom units) and will require a deposit of only R10 000.

Moving away from the concept of large apartment blocks, Gordon Sands will consist of five separate clusters in landscaped gardens with a sizeable swimming pool. Each cluster will contain a number of one-, two- and three bedroom units.

Even at the affordable price, Gordon Sands will be offering all the security- and other conveniences which people have become to regard as essential in today's world, but which are mainly limited to more expensive developments. These include 24 hour access control, electric fencing, a gym, communal gazebo, covered parking and a swimming pool.

Investors or people on the look-out for an affordable home in a pleasant and safe coastal environment, can buy now and will only be required to pay halfway through next year. Hundred percent bonds are available for those who need them.
