How to mix and use CemWash
Mix to a paste 3 volumes CemWash with 1 volume water.
Add 1 further volume water and mix to a creamy slurry.
Apply all mixed material within 1 hour.
Keep mixture stirred.
If you need to apply Cemcrete CenWash to previously painted surfaces, all you have to do is use it in conjunction with CemBond.
For best results all windows, doors and adjacent surfaces should be masked using masking tape and brown paper. All masking material must be removed at the end of the day's work.
Apply liberally using a 150mm x 50mm block brush ensuring that all joints and holes in the masonry or concrete are filled. If a brushed effect is desired, finish with vertical up-strokes.
Remember to keep a wet edge at all times and work from architectural feature to architectural feature to prevent unsightly joint marks. Do not come back to patch.
It is advisable to use at least two applicators per wall, one above and one below, following closely behind to avoid dry joints. Allow at least 2 days between coats.
Each coat to be cured by wetting with clean water 3 times during the day following the day of application.
