Fun weekend Fouriesburg Spring Fair

04 Sep 2013

Visitors can expect live folk and country rock, food stalls with homemade jams and preserves, jumble and car boot sales, fresh produce, pony rides and other children’s activities and games.

In celebration of Spring, the blossoming Eastern Free State town of Fouriesburg near Clarens is holding its third Spring Fair on 7 September 2013.

Entrance is free and there’ll be lots of fun for everyone including cherry blossom orchard tours, walks to San paintings, organic farm tours, eco-farming demonstrations, arts and crafts activities and an art exhibition.

Visitors can also expect live folk and country rock, food stalls with homemade jams and preserves, jumble and car boot sales, fresh produce, pony rides and other children’s activities and games.

This year, local artists and crafters will create all the signage from purely recycled materials, collected by the community and the event will culminate in an evening performance by one of South Africa’s top stand-up comedians.
