There has been a great deal of expansion in the Engel & Völkers brand of late, which the agency says is due to the interest both in the brand and what it has to offer for its property sales advisors and the clients of Engel & Völkers.
One of the shops that experienced much success is the Pretoria New East shop, which opened last year and has already become one of the most successful shops within the brand. The franchise partners have now decided to spread their wings further in Pretoria.
Ettiene Pretorius, Licence partner of Engel & Völkers New East, has bought the Moreleta Park licence territory, which is also situated in Pretoria East. The Moreleta Park Licence includes Clearwater Fly Fishing Estate, Country Lane Estate, Elarduspark, Irene Farm Villages, Meadow Heights, Moreleta Park, Pierre van Ryneveld, Rietvallei Ridge Country Estate, Rietvallei View Country Estate, Rietvalleirand, Route 21 Business Park and Wingate Golf Estate.
Pretorius says they have been part of the brand for only a year now and have had great success in the Pretoria East area. He says this has allowed them to expand into the Moreleta Park area and grow further with the brand.
Craig Hutchison, CEO of Engel & Völkers Southern Africa, says having someone like Ettiene on board, especially in one of their targeted growth areas, is key in obtaining a larger market share over the Pretoria area. He says with the success Ettiene has had with the brand it is inevitable that he would be an even greater success in the Moreleta licence.
Moreleta Park has long been of interest to many buyers and investors in the real estate market. Its close proximity to large business developments on the R21 as well as its proximity to major highways makes it an attractive living area.
Moreleta Park homes are known for flourishing gardens and cost per square metre. The area is surrounded by some of the most prestigious golf courses in Pretoria such as Wingate Park and Woodhill Golf Estate.
Hutchison says with this new addition to the Engel & Völkers brand they now service the whole of Pretoria and look forward to expanding further into other metropolises.
