This year’s East Coast Radio House & Garden Show will take place at the Durban Exhibition Centre from 28 June to 7 July 2013.

Kitchen trends

Get the latest from around the world and dream up an impressive kitchen using varied textures and finishes such as natural stone.

What’s also big this year is African design, which features grass wallpaper, warm ethnic colours, fabrics and art that depicts local flora and fauna.

What’s more, if you visit the Kitchens zone you could win a designer kitchen worth R140 000.

Homegrown designs

Get locally designed crafts from the Homegrown Design Fair, which will also showcase a new section called Design on the Move. This exciting addition will serve as a platform to exhibit newly refurbished caravans that have been redecorated by Durban designers.

DIY inspiration

There’s nothing quite as rewarding as learning a new skill and doing things yourself. Whether you are a DIY master or struggle to change a light bulb, you can get expert advice on all your burning DIY questions at the Builders Warehouse DIY Pavilion.

Kidz zone

While at the show, get your children involved in the drama workshops, musical games and puppet shows.

Visit the Kidz Kitchen, which will host some creative cooking ideas and the Kidz Craft Café, where you can stop and enjoy something crafty and fun.

Doors open at 10am until 9pm. Tickets cost R70 for adults and R50 for pensioners.
