CT's Plumstead records good growth

06 Oct 2008
Plumstead has in recent years been one of the largely unrecognised success stories of the Cape property scene, outperforming in its price increases many of the better-known areas.

Until recently, says Lanice Steward, managing director of Anne Porter Knight Frank (APKF), price rises here have been over 15% to 20% per annum.

A home in this suburb, described as a cottage, has just come on to the market at R1,495m.

It has a spacious lounge with carpeted flow-throughs to a north-facing patio and a separate dining area open plan with the living room. The main bedroom is particularly large and has its own dressing area. It is flanked by two further bedrooms.

The home has a neat, private, well-established garden and is well protected against intrusion by an alarm, security doors, Trellidors and an ADT armed response system.
