Country Road, Trenery at Limpopo mall

30 Nov 2011

December has exciting new options for shoppers at the Mall of the North with Australian fashion brands Country Road and Trenery opening in Woolworths.

In order to accommodate this expanded selection, Woolworths has extended its retail area at the mall by nearly 550sqm, bringing the entire store to 6,050sqm.

These are set to officially launch on 9 December 2011 at the new 75,000sqm super-regional shopping centre in Polokwane, Limpopo offering ranges of stylish contemporary fashion and classic everyday luxury wear.

Woolworths Mall of the North store manager, Rodney Masoka says that there is a huge demand for these upmarket brands amongst the store’s customers.

He says their customers are very “fashion forward” and some have said that they travel as far afield as Sandton for Country Road and Trenery.

In order to accommodate this expanded selection, Woolworths has extended its retail area at the mall by nearly 550sqm, bringing the entire store to 6,050sqm.

Masoka says that shoppers are enthusiastic about Woolworths premium brands and based on customer feedback, they believe that Country Road and Trenery are going to be extremely successful.

There is already a lot of excitement about these fashion brands, which are only offered at selected Woolworths stores, he adds.

General Manager of the Mall of the North, Sumari de Ridder says that the shopping centre is pleased with the enhanced Woolworths offering.

“In addition to providing our shoppers with an even more enjoyable and comprehensive shopping experience with the introduction of Country Road and Trenery by Woolworths, it also reflects positive trade and retailer confidence.”

De Ridder says this is the Mall of the North’s first festive season since opening in April and all the shops, restaurants and customer services are pulling out all the stops to give Limpopo the best festive shopping experience it has ever had.
