The anchor tenant, a  2000m2 family Pick n Pay store will cater to everyone in the Pretoria CBD. It will be complemented by popular local and international fashion brands, including Spitz, Earthchild, Rage, Solo shoes, Daniel J  and Ma Gents, to name but a few.

Additionally, a provision for a  Nedbank loan centre and Capitec Bank has been made in order to accommodate the assortment of the shoppers’ financial desires.  For those who need a quick bite, KFC offers the usual favourites on their menu.

Centre Walk comprises 5 672m² with excellent lighting, warm lines and soft colours that dominate its elegant, fresh and refined structure.

The revamp of Die Meent was not limited to the ground floor retail of this building. Eight storeys of offices above the retail level were upgraded and resulted in attracting government leases. The adjacent building, City Centre, which comprises seven floors of office space, received a full internal upgrade between October 2009 and September 2010. City Property furthermore transformed the unused first floor into much-needed parking.

According to City Property’s project manager, Ken Lalor, Blackwood Architects’ brief was to bring these rundown retail areas and offices into the 21st century. These buildings certainly have arrived in the 21st century and offer inviting shops, upmarket offices and parking.

Centre Walk,  a  concealed gem will become synonymous with being the place where both essentials and luxuries can be found – where the true origin of style can be enjoyed. Why go East if you have the convenience of big-brand shopping right in the heart of the CBD?

Centre Walk launched on 15 November 2012, with opening specials, entertainment and giveaways are planned for the residents and people who work in and around the area.
