31 Jul 2017

The premier provider of student accommodation in South Africa, Campuskey, will add another property to its nationwide portfolio of student accommodation in Pretoria, expanding their offering in the Jacaranda city to 296 beds.

Rooms will offer a ¾ quality bed, en suite bathroom with shower, study area, built-in wardrobes, a wall-mounted panel heater and a 40-inch LED TV with the option of an additional DStv bouquet.

Situated in close proximity to the University of Pretoria, the new building in Hatfield will offer 160 luxury fully-furnished bedrooms.

“Building of the new residence started in November 2016 and will be ready for the 2018 intake,” says Leon Howell, MD of CampusKey. “We’re also planning further expansion close to the university, Hillcrest 1 and two, which will be completed by the beginning of 2019.”

He says their residences are within walking distance of the University of Pretoria and are designed to the highest standards. “Our existing residence, Hatfield one, offers 136 rooms made up of 112 Studio Deluxe rooms and 24 Cluster Two Bedrooms. The new residence, Hatfield 2, will offer 160 luxury-furnished bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a shared kitchen.”

Rooms will offer a ¾ quality bed, en suite bathroom with shower, study area, built-in wardrobes, a wall-mounted panel heater and a 40-inch LED TV with the option of an additional DStv bouquet.

The shared kitchen will be fitted with a fridge, microwave, kettle and Snappy Chef stove. Furthermore, state-of-the-art gym facilities will be provided onsite, as well as communal areas with pool or foosball tables, DStv, laundry facilities, braai areas and a communal kitchen.

“Security is of the utmost importance to us, and we pride ourselves on our cutting-edge biometric access, trailblazing CCTV surveillance systems, secure bicycle storage, basement parking areas and a hands-on, dynamic management team available to students 24/7,” says Howell.

“We’ve grown into the premier provider of secure student accommodation through our unique understanding and commitment to students.”

CampusKey also recently launched their #Community, a collaborative, vibrant student community at each CampusKey building and campus, as well as nationwide.

“Leaving home and moving to a new city to start your tertiary education provides many opportunities to expand your experiences and knowledge, and CampusKey is the perfect place from which you can work hard, play hard and have fun,” says Howell.
