Billion Group, one of SA leading black-owned property developers and asset managers, has appointed four new professionals to its management team.
Zandile Ngebulana was appointed to the position of retail development manager from 23 May 2012.
Sisa Ngebulana, Rebosis chief executive and owner of Billion Group, says he is delighted to welcome Mande Ndema, Oratile Mosetlhi, Gaby Sithole, Zandile Ngebulana and Vongani Mbhokota to the group’s management team.
Mande Ndema
Mande Ndema has held a number of senior positions during his career, most recently as group company secretary at Real People (Pty).
He was also group company secretary at AVI Limited and a senior BEE compliance consultant at Sanlam limited.

An admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, Ndema holds a Bachelor of Social Science, Bachelor of Law (LLB) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Supply Chain Management all from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
He also completed a Programme for Management Development at GIBS Business School.
Apart from significant High Court litigation experience, Mande also gained understanding in both the listed and non-listed environments on various codes of regulatory compliance including the King Code on Corporate Governance (King III) and the new Companies Act.
He also advised various boards on matters of ethics and good governance on an ongoing basis as well as gave guidance to the board on the discharge of their duties and responsibilities.
Ndema now specialises in all aspects of corporate governance as a company secretary responsible for the flow of information to the board and its committees and ensuring compliance with board procedures, legislation and regulations.
He will play a critical role in Billion Group’s growth strategy.
Oratile Refiloe Mosetlhi
Gaby Sithole was appointed to the position of retail asset manager on 7 May 2012.
Oratile Refiloe Mosetlhi was appointed on 1 May 2012 to the position of commercial asset manager.
An admitted Advocate of the High Court, Mosetlhi holds an LLB degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.
With over seven years’ worth of industry and asset management experience, Mosetlhi’s previous positions have included property manager and leasing consultant at City Property Administration, CBS Property Management and PIC Real Estate.
Gaby Sithole
Gaby Sithole was appointed to the position of retail asset manager on 7 May 2012.
Sithole holds a BCom (Acc) degree from RAU, a BCom Hons (Financial Management) from the University of Johannesburg and is completing his CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualification.
Sithole’s 12 years’ cross-sector industry experience includes working as portfolio manager, retail fund accountant and retail property manager for Johannesburg Stock Exchange listed Growthpoint Properties Limited.
Vongani Mbhokota joined Billion Group on 1 July 2012 as developments manager.
He was also leasing administrator at JHI and spent time at SAB Miller as a commercial specialist.
Zandile Ngebulana
Zandile was appointed to the position of Retail Development Manager from 23 May 2012.
She is responsible for the continuous development of the company’s major assets and is expected to facilitate the continued growth of the company.
Ngebulana has in excess of 16 years' experience in the retail industry, from store manager to regional manager (operations), of which the last 10 years was with The Foschini Group (TFG) formerly known as Foschini Group.
Oratile Refiloe Mosetlhi was appointed on 1 May 2012 to the position of commercial asset manager.
Her experience includes many firsts including being the first black female manager at TFG and Unilever.
She holds diplomas in Business Administration, International Leadership Development, Strategic Leadership and Retail Management Development.
Her appointment adds to the wealth of retail skills in this team.
Vongani Mbhokota
Vongani Mbhokota joined Billion Group on 1 July 2012 as developments manager.
Mbhokota brings with him a wealth of both local and international experience, having worked as developments manager on prestigious projects in Zambia, Swaziland and Ghana.
His experience is expected to enhance Billion Group’s ability to take advantage of future expansion opportunities across the African continent.
With a degree in Quantity Surveying from Pretoria Technikon and a Diploma in Asset Management from Damelin, Mbhokota is currently reading a Masters in Business Leadership degree from UNISA.
He has over 11 years’ industry experience, including senior quantity surveyor at Group Five, developments manager at Investec Property and developments manager for Liberty Properties.
